mocruiseguy Posted March 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2013 I will be on St Lucia on 4/12 with friends (on Celebrity Eclipse). We are looking for a 1/2 day hike near or on the Pitons. Nothing really available through the ship. Does anyone have a recommended tour guide or company that we could research via phone or checking out their website? Thanks in advance for your recommendations/suggestions!

Thanks in advance for your recommendations/suggestions! Do you want to actually hike Gros Piton? If so, check with Spencer Ambrose - he offers the best option for climbing the Piton and being back to the ship on time. You can google his website. It takes about 4 or so hours to climb the Piton, however it is 45-1 hour by boat from the port...so that adds to the time. How strenuous of a hike do you want? The Tet Paul trail is in Soufriere , along the ridge above the Pitons - more of a hearty walk than a hike...you could combine with a plantation tour where they grow cocoa for Hershey or the volcano/mud baths and some snorkeling, etc. Hope that helps, enjoy your visit.
