cabin assignment

Question-got our cabin assignment today on the Eurodam-went from VH too VQ-are there any differences or advantages/disadvantages?
The negatives on the VH are steel-wall railings instead of plexiglas (so you can't see much when seated) and a location right over the sometimes-noisy show lounge. The biggest negative of the VQ is a shallow balcony - just 4 ft. The VQ has "spa amenities" which I don't consider a plus.

I would prefer the VQ for the better view higher up. As long as you didn't get a VT you "done good" IMO! :)

A water feature and a yoga mat. You also get some "fancy" water and vitamin water. I didn't notice that the balcony was smaller. I did like that it was close to the cabana I rented for the week. I didn't care for how high up it was. All that said, it was fine.

If you had seen a deck 8 V you'd notice that they're almost twice the size, 7 feet deep.

No, I haven't seen them but it seems like most of the verandas on HAL ships are small. I had a SY suite one time and even that balcony was not big. That said they had too much furniture out there.
