computerworks Posted March 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2013 For anyone who has sailed this past quarter on the Riviera in the Caribbean... Do you recall what sports channels were received on the ship while sailing the Caribbean? We will be on board in early April and are curious if we might be able to catch a "pretty important game." Thanks
Rprbp24 Posted March 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2013 I was on Riveria on 2/12/13 for 10 days. I don't recall seeing one sports channel. There were a few news stations, a few ship channels, and several movie channels. I was at the concierage one day when someone was asking to have a baskeball game broadcast. The answer was they were not able to do that.
computerworks Posted March 15, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted March 15, 2013 Thanks. I knew it was highly unlikely. Have been on ships in the past that did pick up ESPN Carib at times... oh, well. Tivo is my friend. :p

digtexas Posted March 16, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2013 In January on Riviera all of the major NFL playoff games were shown, many outdoors on the big screen below Baristas (as well as in your cabin and on the lounge screens). I have been on another line in the Caribbean for the national college football championship as well as a Super Bowl , and the big games always seem to be shown. corpkid Posted March 18, 2013 #10 Share Posted March 18, 2013 I was in S. America during bowl season on an Azamara ship. When I got back to "American Football" three weeks later I had a full DVR and about 100 hours of games to catch up on. Hopefully we will be able to catch a few games this August as the season kicks off on Marina. GO NOLES! :)
