Upgrading an assigned room.

They aren't supposed to. Exceptions are your choosing a "handicapped room" when not physically disabled....choosing a room which sleeps 3+ when there are only 2 in your party. You won't necessarily be moved in those situations. Just saying it's possible. Also, CCL is supposed to contact you if either occurs.

Sometimes you will get bumped for a Carnival employee too, especially if you have a very desireable room. Like the above poster said, Carnival is supposed to notify you if they want to upgrade you but there are always stories from people who got upgraded and were not notified. It doesn't seem to happen often though.
