gratamama Posted March 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2013 I see Uxmal is a Unesco world heritage site. That makes me think it's the best - but it seems like chichen itza is really popular. What are the pros/ cons?
JimAOk1945 Posted March 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2013 We have been to both. I can't think of any "cons" about either one. It's hard to say which is better since they are both fantastic in their own way. Is there a chance you will go back again? If so, you can see one this time and the other next time. I suggest that you be prepared for hot weather regardless of when you go. Wear a hat, take a bottle of water, and wear light clothing and comfortable shoes. My wife made a slideshows from the pictures she took on our cruises and posted them on her website. If you are interested in seeing them you can click on the links below. Each slideshow will play as soon as the page opens, but you can also go through the pictures by clicking on the thumbnails one at a time.
maldenmusic Posted April 10, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2013 We have only been to the Dzib ruins and they were fine but this June we will be taking the Autoprogreso tour to Uxmal.
