picking which ruins to tour

I see Uxmal is a Unesco world heritage site. That makes me think it's the best - but it seems like chichen itza is really popular. What are the pros/ cons?

We have been to both. I can't think of any "cons" about either one. It's hard to say which is better since they are both fantastic in their own way.

 

Is there a chance you will go back again? If so, you can see one this time and the other next time.

 

I suggest that you be prepared for hot weather regardless of when you go. Wear a hat, take a bottle of water, and wear light clothing and comfortable shoes.

We have only been to the Dzib ruins and they were fine but this June we will be taking the Autoprogreso tour to Uxmal.
