I'm loving the new sale!

I agree! Usually sales aren't really sales at all on the carnival website, but this one is different! $220 per person price drop on an 8B balcony for my June cruise! :D I couldn't believe it when I saw it!

Make sure when you price check, you go through the steps of the mock-booking. The lowest price shown if you just search for a cruise is NOT the price that appears when you go through the steps of the mock booking and actually select a room in your cabin category. :) Unless you are lucky enough to get the fareviewer website to work for you. It hasn't worked for me for a long time. I gave up on it and just started doing mock bookings!

Great advice. I do go all the way through with the booking. For my solo cruise I'm doing an inside cabin, but I have the Window. So I have to make sure I see the actual price for my category and not just the base category.

My category is sold out but the category above (we're in 8f, so I'm looking at 8g) is down $140pp!! Will they make me upgrade or can I get a price drop? Not ES but 3 months till final payment.

If you booked one of the refundable rates, I would think they would honor a price drop for you although your category is gone, but I'm not 100% certain on that. I take it that you like your room and don't want to move? It doesn't hurt to ask and find out what can be done for you. Good luck!

They said it was move or nothing, so I moved up to an 8g and called back 5 mins later and got my 8f back :) I just love midship on the lido and I hear panorama is just to noisy!

See, they should have just let you keep it. LOL But I'm glad you got it back!

Our Canada 5 day dropped so much, that we made it into a b2b for 9 days!

Wow! You really did have a huge savings! I'm doing a 7 day out of San Juan...I can't be gone for 14 days from work; well, I could, but it's possible some of my October cruise or my February cruise would be leave without pay. I like to keep something in the bank.

I've been considering doing a solo cruise and this sale makes it so tempting :)

Do it! Although, this will be my first one. But others have said it's the best way to cruise. You can do as much or as little as you want without having to "ruin" someone else's vacation or them "ruin" yours. :D

Yes, right now it's Past Guest only.

My daughter was on hold for 23 minutes before someone picked up, but 4 of us are doing a B2B to Canada for a total of 9 days and 2 are doing the 5 day! For the cost of the 6 of us doing the 5 day. LOL, and we only booked all this on Saturday!!

Hopefully there will be some cabins left for us.

I'm sure there will be. Just keep in mind that the sale is only good for sailings through August 2013.

The only thing the past guests are getting is all of the decks are available to us as long as they have cabins on those decks.
