Golf Cart for 2 adults and 3 kids?

I read that the golf carts from Nathan have seating for 4. Another post said that her party of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) were told by Nathan that they would need 2 golf carts.

 

My kids are ages 15, 12, and 4, and I just wouldn't want to divide up with 2 golf carts. Does anyone know if Nathan would allow us to get 1 and have the 4 year old ride on a lap?

I emailed as we will have 9,8,3 with us.... which the 3 yr old will sit w my hubby and he said no, wed have to have two :(

....

So i talked my parents into getting one :)

It's a liability issue, most likely. Roads aren't exactly smooth on the island. And you drive the wrong way. But the rear seat is a flat bench seat. If the kids are skinny 3 could fit, but any packpacks or other paraphernalia wouldn't.
