chucknmarilyn Posted March 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2013 Has anyone had a connecting room on Mariner or other Voyager class ships? I'm wanting info on D1 category and trying to find out where the door is located and if you lose any appreciable space to that door when it is closed. Thanks! jealdaka Posted March 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2013 I would like to know the same thing about Adventure cabins. We've been on some that take away some storage room when there is a CX door. I don't think that always happens and I haven't seen complaints on these ships.
momphoto Posted March 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2013 We had connecting cabins on the Explorer, though it was insides I assume the set up will be the same. The door was were the couch is but instead of a couch each room had a single chair. The room which the door opens into, the chair cannot be set at an angle and if you leave the door opened the chair is not much use....we ended up using it to pile stuff onto. Now a balcony cabin is larger so you may not encounter this issue.
