Changning Bookings

I've booked on the Triumph for the fall but I'm wondering if I should do the

magic instead. What's the process and what's the penalty.

Also after a whole week I still haven't gotten my email confirmation.

It shows up on my "manage my cruise" but no email. Should I be concerned?

Thanks,

JT

Your email confirmation may have gone to your Spam folder. Mine always does. The same thing with CabinConfirmation for price drops, it goes to Spam.

Did you book ES? Check on your booking to see if there is a penalty to cancel if you dont know.

I loved Magic .. its way nicer, but a lot more expensive. Depends on how much you are willing to spend if I would change. Im looking for a cheapie, to get to milestone a little faster (officially) .. as having only 2 weeks between #24 and #25 its going to be tight to get my OBC applied to #25.

I'm way outside that. Do you know on their site where I might read that.

would that include the non refundable deposit.

Thats what I meant.. so you already know your deposit is nonrefundable, you booked ES probably?

You will have to pay $50 pp penalty to change bookings and then be issued a credit which if you find someone clever they can apply the rest of the deposit to the Magic booking.

If you cancel and rebook at the same time with someone competent, they can use the rest of the deposit on Triumph to apply to the Magic booking... otherwise they will want to add it as a OBC .. I would want it applied.

I would probably just keep my Triumph booking.

I would say they are about equally crowded, but Magic has a whole bunch more food options. Triumph has only one section of buffet, so thats the worst area for crowding to me. The space per pax is about the same. I think cruisedeckplans. shows that if you want to check exactly.

OK just for kicks.. here is the space ratio .. much lower than RCL but Carnival there isnt a lot of difference to me between ships.... but Triumph shows it actually has more space per pax than Magic.
