bookbabe Posted March 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2013 There are really only three restaurants in that area. All are good, or at least DH and I have had good meals at all of them. Kaibo - http://www.kaibo.ky Rum Point - http://www.rumpointclub.com Over the Edge - http://over-theedge.com/ Over the Edge is a bit further away than the other two, but it's a bit cheaper since it's not quite as touristy (although you've already eaten there so I don't know if you want to again). Rum Point is essentially "cottage country" so there's not much around in the way of "local" or "cheap" restaurants. Most other restaurants are going to be near Morritts (East End) or back towards George Town. A pretty comprehensive listing of restaurants, with maps and menus, can be found at http://caymangoodtaste.com/
drew sailbum Posted March 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2013 You already have the info on the North Side Restaurants. Not many. Moving over to East End you'll find a few more. Italian Kitchen is in the shopping center by Morritt's. There is a Subway at the Reef Resort next door to Morritt's. Tukka offers "a taste of Australia with a Caribbean twist" at their location a bit more than a mile past Morritt's. Not a cheap meal. Bombay Chopsticks is located by the Compass Point Resort and Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop. They serve an Indian-Chinese fusion menu. You may see a roadside food stand or fish fry pop up just for a day here or there. Usually good and cheap food popular with the locals.
