lucaya freeport visitors this year

has anyone been to our lucaya in the last two months or so? i've been there twice in the past three years but not last year. last year i read that many shops were closed, there was no live music, basically they were suffering from the recession like everyone else. so we opted not to go there last year. have an upcoming freeport stop and wondering if anyone was there recently - this year.

also the first time we went we walked right on the beach and enjoyed along with a hundred thousand spring breakers. the next time we went which was 2mo. later, we were charged $30 by the Radisson to get to the beach. do they only do that certain times of the year? changing prices?
