Good decent reasonable hotel in Miami

Can anyone recommend a decent gay friendly hotel in Miami after a cruise near the gay bars?

The only gay hotel I know of in Miami is Lords.

 

Edited to add: OK, I misread that... "gay friendly", not "gay". I can;t help out with your question then, but I would think most hotels in teh South Beach area would be fine.

Ha ok thanks. We are doing Fort Lauderdale before the cruise and Miami after. Just trying to select a decent not expensive hotel for Miami

IMHO, you'll want to stay in Miami Beach, not Miami. I can't really recommend a place (I live here so I've never stayed at places in Miami or Miami Beach, but downtown Miami does not offer much for tourists.

We stayed two nights in Miami Beach laat year and we found it boring. Not much in the line of shops or restaurants. South Beach has more. I don't care for South Beach either ;)

On Collins Ave. Between 12th and 13th 1 block from beach, gay bars around the corner (twist on Washington Ave) and up on Lincoln about 17th-ish and collins/washington ave.

 

I stayed there on and off for several months years ago. Roz was the manager then, not sure if she still there or not....

 

Cute 14 room i think, mediterranean theme, with nice italian restaurant in front. good big showers in most rooms!
