Deck 4/5 Inside Cabin v Deck 6/7

Recommended Posts

Last year we booked an Inside Cabin on Deck 6 or 7 of the ´Dream´ which we found ideal.

This year, in a cost cutting exercise when we booked, we decided to go for the cheapest option of Deck 4/5 Inside.

Has anyone on here stayed on both levels? Are we going to notice a big difference in noise? Should we change to 6/7 again?

Many thanks for any thoughts.

We've had Deck 5 and Deck 6 insides and haven't noticed any difference at all - these were more or less midships on each occasion.

Hi - twice we have been on the Dream and booked the cheapest "inside deck 4/5" and both times have been allocated deck 5 at the rear of the ship. It is very noisy/juddery when arriving and leaving the port - but put your ear plugs in and no problem whatsoever.

yep, agreed, very noisy at the stern of deck 5....might be worth considering reserving a midship cabin as these are good/quiet

Thats brilliant Geomagot - many, many thanks.

Now it seems that I must be very stupid - just can´t find who we have to contact to book/pay for the cabin? As we don´t live in the UK we cannot call into a Thomson travel agency. Tried clicking on ´Manage My Booking´ on the Thomson Cruise site but it says that this cannot be done on-line.

Can anyone help this poor woman who is feeling more and more senile by the minute with an appropriate email address or telephone number?

Many thanks.
