kalos Posted April 9, 2013 Author #52 Share Posted April 9, 2013 I'll do a blog post then tomorrow. :) I look forward to reading the blog :D ________________________________________________________ This poll will close on April 9th, 2013 at 06:19 PM Well thanks to everyone who took time to take part and vote or give us your take on the Thomsons recent Cruises alcohol policy . I myself did vote see how it goes as...as yet I do not understand why the policy has been enforced now and not in the past as far as i know. Could it be that sales onboard the ship Dream have dropped, due to shop bought consumption ? If it is a Thomson Cruise"s" policy as stated .Why only the Dream and not all the ships from the same date ? Maybe Thomson will claim anyone bringing bottles of liquid onboard could be a security risk ? We may never know the reason but looking at the figures of the poll, showing twice more will look at other brands , it could be well a bad idea by Thomson not to explain to us "why now" ? Well as I voted ... Lets see how it goes .
kruzseeka Posted April 9, 2013 #53 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Thanks Kalos for the thread and the interesting responses it has promoted. :) It's the great mix of information, advice, sensible debate, shades of opinion - and of course fun which makes this such an enjoyable Forum to be part of!:) Thanks too to Sailaway for gathering, summarising and presenting the news, views and developments in the world of Thomson cruising in such a brilliant format. Am I being rather superior and self-satisfied (on behalf of us all) when I say I think this must be amongst the best - if not the best Forum ? It certainly feels like it - good natured banter, lots of help and information. Long may it last and Thomson keep us on board - literally! Thanks to everyone for making this a board I look forward to visiting to find out what you've all been up to! :D ;)
