flcraigs5 Posted April 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2013 We are flying into Seattle on May 21st for our May 22nd cruise out of Vancouver and are planning on either taking a bus or train to Vancouver on the 22nd. I heard also that the cruise line has a shuttle that we can purchase. Has anyone done this? If so any information on this would be so helpful. Thanks

We used it from YVR to SeaTac, and it worked well for us. Here is the link. www.quickcoach.com
indokiwi Posted April 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2013 Quick Shuttle (quickcoach.com) also has free wi-fi on board so it helps to pass the time. Make sure that you reserve your spot, either on the phone or by the web. We stayed in Seattle and took it up to Vancouver once and a couple showed up at the pick up location in Downtown Seattle (just 1 block from the Space Needle) and were turned away because they thought that they could "walk on". There was room, but they need 24 hours notice for the border crossing. Coming back down from Vancouver to Seattle is a different story. You can pre-purchase, but you don't have to (my daughter decided not to stay and visit friends after our cruise and joined us coming back). You SHOULD because you are guaranteed a spot if the bus is full. The drop off spot is in Canada Place right where the taxis and other shuttles drop off cruise ship guests and the porters are waiting to take your luggage (there were others on the bus going to the other pier in Vancouver, but they were the 2nd stop). You catch it going south at the exact same spot. Very convenient and cheap.
Northshorecruisers Posted April 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2013 You can check directly with HAL for the timing and cost of their transfer. I believe I heard $65. Good news is if there is a long line to cross the border and you are late, the ship will wait for you.
