I never knew until I joined this board that you can buy travel insurance independent of the cruiseline. We never buy the insurance, because of the price. But this time with the kids going on their first cruise, we wanted to cover all the bases. Researched on here and got the tip to go to insuremytrip.com . And just like everyone said, I modeled my plan then call and talked to a rep who was super nice and helpful. Went with Travel Insured International. Comprehensive plans for 4 people cost $110! Hoping I won't need it, but at least I have it and saved a ton.
