Combining RCI credit card redemption with OB booking credit or shareholder OBC?

Hello. We have a ton of RCI credit card points that are starting to expire. We want to book an RCI cruise while on our Celebrity cruise a few weeks from now. We will use the credit card point for a cruise discount. Questions:

 

1. Can we book the RCI cruise while on Celebrity and get both our credit card discount (cashing in points) AND the OBC for booking while onboard?

 

2. We are also RCI shareholders. Can we combine our shareholder OBC with the credit card discount (cashing in points)?

 

Has anyone successfully done either of these? Thanks!

To my knowledge, you can combine the OBC from Visa points redemption with any other benefits.

 

You must redeem Visa points using the Visa website now, you won't be able to redeem any points when you book on board your Celebrity cruise.

 

The shareholder OBC and OBC from booking on board are not combinable.
