Montego Bay recommendations

We are heading to Montego Bay in June and would like to do something different. We've done the tubing and Dunn's River. We wouldn't mind a beach thing if we could find one that offered lots of activities, food, and beverages included. Shopping is not a priority.

 

Any fun suggestions?

I can't imagine a better day than one spent at Doctor's Cave Beach right off Gloucester Ave across the street from the Doctor's Cave beach Hotel in MoBay. Gorgeous beach, nicer than any we've seen in Negril or Ocho. The Groovy Grouper is a beach bar with swing seats and a fun spot. The beach is clean and gorgeous, the small fee for admission is well worth the experience. We stayed at the hotel in 2004 and DCB is still one of the nices beaches we've visied and we travel several times a year.

margaritavile is a few steps away and their waterslide onto the ocean is very fast.

Do you need to take a taxi? or can we walk? This will be our first time in Montego Bay and it sounds like a place for us.

Yes you will need to taxi from the cruise dock but it's not that far.
