maureencruiser Posted April 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2013 Is it taxes and fees? or just taxes? Without seeing the invoice, I can't really help you. Call the TA tomorrow- good idea!
nelblu Posted April 12, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2013 Is it travel insurance or the TA's booking fees?
uksimonusa Posted April 12, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2013 TA's very ofter break the pricing down differently to the cruise line. The "cruise fare" consists of 2 parts, commisionable and non commisionable, on the RCI web site, these are shown as one price, the cruise fare, the only things added to this are government taxes/fees. A lot of TA's will show the commisionable fare, this is the amount they get paid on, and then show the non commisionable fare AND the government taxes and fees, as taxes and fees. The total price should be the same as the total price from the cruiseline.
vaca1981 Posted April 12, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted April 12, 2013 Talked to my travel agent and I got a $210 pp price reduction! RCCL was having a special resident rate for my sailing. Needless to say I am thrilled!
