Nghthawke Posted April 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2013 How much would it cost to take a taxi from the pier to Kinderdijk?
KirkNC Posted April 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Why not take a nice relaxing boat ride? That is what we did: http://www.rebus-info.nl/main_en.htm You can walk to the dock where the tour is from the ship, it is accros the bridge to the right. Nghthawke Posted April 14, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2013 I looked at that and it looks lovely but we would likely be going on the morning of the cruise. The Rotterdam leaves as 4 pm. I find the scheduling of the boat ride to Kinderdijk a little bit too tight.
Ine Posted April 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2013 Maybe public transport will suit you. It is more or less just 2 ferries. Check this site for information: http://9292.nl/en# Put in departure Wilhelminakade Rotterdam to Kinderdijk Veerhaven. Or Kinderdijk windmills. From the ferry in Kinderdijk you can take either a but or walk for about 10-15 minutes. Cabs are very expensive in The Netherlands.

Our ship left at 5:00 so we had a little more time. I will say checkin was a breeze as no one else was in line when we arrived.
