Sure. If you are willing to pay more money, there is always a chance of an upgrade. (Unless the whole ship is full....)

Carnival will always take more of your money, lol. Just give your travel agent a call and they can let you know about pricing. If you're not going until August I'm sure there will be cabins available.

I have less than 2 weeks till I set sail and upgraded yesterday. So yeap it can be done.:D

I won't pay much extra for a suite on Carnival...maybe a GS if it's not too much. I do like having a balcony though. I'll pay more to upgrade from OV to a Balcony than I would pay from a Balcony to a Suite (again, unless it was a GS).

You are better off with an aft balcony or balcony.... Carnivals suites are well just... a little bit bigger cabin for you to sleep and show in lol :p
