Peggyb Posted June 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2005 Hi All First time cruiser on HAL. Have booked this cabin for Husband and self in Dec. Has anyone stayed in this cabin on the Vista Class Ships. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
doone Posted June 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2005 Myself and friends sailed on the Zuiderdam and had suite 5187 with 3 girls and the other 2 girls had 5185. This is a great cabin, its located aft, with a nice balcony, a long balcony as compared to the same cabins located on the side. I think you will be very happy with this cabin, but be aware, its a hike and a half if you are at the Crowe's Nest and want to go back to your cabin, other than that, you will love it. HAL92 Posted June 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2005 The aft suites on the vista-class ships are very nice, with good views, a very large balcony, and a large interior space. Your room is a Deluxe verandah outside cabin, not a suite, and it will be smaller and it is not a corner room, therefore it will not have as good of views and may not have much privacy from above. Although it's far from most of the ship's attractions at the very back of the ship, you will enjoy your cabin.
