Clubber Posted June 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2005 Yes, the AOS has a very simple "wake up call" service right on the phone. Very easy to use.
Hypo Posted June 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2005 IF you have you r cell phone with you, most of them have an alarm clock function. Check out the owners manual for your phone. (I know, no one reads those things!!)

FlyingPhotog Posted June 17, 2005 #10 Share Posted June 17, 2005 I took my own clock last week and it got broken in transit. One of the buttons got stuck it and wouldn't come out. I ended up having to use my Timex Ironman watch's alarm.
Giventofly Posted June 17, 2005 #11 Share Posted June 17, 2005 is there a fee for the wake up call (like in hotels)? It's not actually a live service. You program the phone using instructions written on it, and it will ring for you at the appropriate time. As mentioned above, if you like to see the time, plan on bringing a small LED alarmclock....the rooms are surprisingly dark at night.
cruzfiend Posted June 17, 2005 #12 Share Posted June 17, 2005 Also, make sure the clock is battery operated. The electric on the ship is different and our clock was always wrong.
BobbyK Posted June 18, 2005 #13 Share Posted June 18, 2005 I've purchased a relatively small alarm clock and keep it with my suitcase (and extra batteries). Very convenient. Robin:cool:
