I do care if I am 2nd and NOT 2000th. Enjoy vacation early. FTTF= SO WORTH IT!
Mikesa1721 Posted February 6, 2014 #127 Share Posted February 6, 2014 We are arriving in San Juan early around 2pm and using Carnival transportation. Ship leaves at 10pm. Does anyone think that its worth it for this port? We are sailing on the Valor in March and purchased it just so we can go to our room and drop off our carry on luggage before spending the rest of the day touring San Juan. For us, with 2 kids, it's definitely worth it.
Mysticks1 Posted February 6, 2014 #128 Share Posted February 6, 2014 We just got off the Fantasy last week and had FTTF. We thought it was VERY worth it. We walked on the ship where a crew member noticed our sticker, and escorted us right to the closed door going to our hallway with our cabin. He said our cabin would be ready, and it was. Our luggage had beat us there. We dropped our carry on's off, and went directly to Lido for lunch. It was worth the $50 not to have to drag our carry ons around. So, I guess different strokes for different folks, but we will always purchase FTTF from now on. I purchased FTTF for our cruise in May for the reasons that you listed. I think it is worth $50 to have your room ready, drop your carry ons off right away and have your luggage early. I also care if I am one of the first on the ship. It makes such a difference stepping onboard and getting lunch if there aren't 2000 people already onboard. One of the best perks of FTTF if you ask me. I consider it to be a great deal. cruisingagainsoon Posted February 6, 2014 #129 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Can FTTF be purchased before you make your final payment. I can't get any excursions to come up.
tntinftw Posted February 6, 2014 #130 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Can FTTF be purchased before you make your final payment. I can't get any excursions to come up. Yes, it can. However there are a limited number of FTTF passes available. It could be sold out... Sent from my GT-P3113 using Tapatalk
cruisingagainsoon Posted February 6, 2014 #131 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Thanks I called Carnival and they think it's too soon. I just booked yesterday morning. They said give it a few days and try again.
zoey9989 Posted February 6, 2014 #132 Share Posted February 6, 2014 I will be carrying my wedding dress onto the ship. paying the 50$ is so worth it for me not to have to hold onto to it until my room is ready.
deborahjo Posted February 6, 2014 #133 Share Posted February 6, 2014 We booked FTTF last October. It was well worth it. Loved being on the ship before noon and dropping luggage in cabin. Having a Guys Burger by 12:30. Doing again in September. Had to check every day for FTTF to open up for my cruise. When it did I booked it asap. They do sell out quickly. It is very popular. kangaand2roos Posted February 6, 2014 #134 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Is Faster to the Fun worth it? DH and I will be sailing the Paradise in October. Just wondering if it's worth it on a smaller ship... For us it is if only for the ability to go directly to our rooms when we board. I travel alone with one or both of my kids and it's nice to unload all of our carry-on stuff!
Elegant Tragedy Posted February 8, 2014 #135 Share Posted February 8, 2014 We booked the Dream out of NOLA in July last month and when I went to add FTTF to my cart after paying the deposit, it was sold out. :( I called Carnival and they said that there might be more released at a later date and to keep checking back. I added it to my favorites, just in case. We are traveling with family who are platinum and they were more than ok with hanging in line with us. Well...I went to book my shore excursions this evening and noticed that the "sold out" next to FTTF had been replaced with a shiny green "add to cart"!!!!! Snagged that baby and we are now able to board with our platinum family members!!!! :D Moral of the story: add it to your favorites in the shore excursions and check every now and then. They just might open more up!!!
beachloverandfoodie Posted February 17, 2014 #136 Share Posted February 17, 2014 YES I agree! The FTTF was sold out for months and I kept checking back and those sad words "Sold Out" were replaced with the beautiful words "Add to Cart". This will be my first time doing FTTF but I tend to enjoy luxury and being treated like a VIP so this program was made for me and my travel style. So excited to be cruising in 42 days! etmom1 Posted February 17, 2014 #138 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I've been checking several times daily for FTTF to open up for the Magic on March 2 and consistently see the 'sold out'. I'd given up until I read the last several posts so I'll keep trying! Here's hoping...
beachloverandfoodie Posted February 17, 2014 #139 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I also was about to give up hope, our cruise doesn't sail until March 31st but I think sometimes people cancel their entire trip or maybe even change their mind about FTTF. Additionally I think they release a small amount of them at a time. I noticed after I purchased mine this morning that there were more still available so I think they released a few more. Keep checking and good luck!:)

THIS IS US! Posted April 25, 2014 #142 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Like many have stated read the fine print! You only need to purchase one FTF pass for the entire cabin. Yes it tells you otherwise at first(49.95 per adult) but the notation on the left tells you otherwise. I called Carnival since DM and I purchased at first. Agent removed mine and stated this is a daily occurance and they have no plans of changing the wording on the page as it reflects other excursions. BTW 7-10 days for refund. Moral of my story, read the fine print, get FTF and enjoy every extra second of fun you can on your cruise. I know we will:)

meme2manthajoe Posted April 25, 2014 #145 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We had it for our cruise we just got done with and are excited to have just gotten it for our upcoming cruise. We definitely think it is worth it.
beachloverandfoodie Posted April 25, 2014 #146 Share Posted April 25, 2014 The main reason we purchased FTTF was so our luggage would arrive quickly but that was not the case, it took over 4 hours for our bags to get to the room so I complained at guest services and they fully refunded us while still allowing us to use the perks throughout the trip....worth it!!! O2Cool Posted April 26, 2014 #148 Share Posted April 26, 2014 You can send an email to Shoreexcursions"at"carnival"dot"com and they will email you when more FTTFs are being released for your cruise. Use the real symbols instead of the words in quotes. Hope you get yours. I plan to try for it every time we cruise. I Love FTTF !!!!!:D
