SF Posted June 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2005 Was wondering how cool the temperature is on the Sapphire during the evenings both in the lounges and in the cabins? Read some threads on another board about people complaining that their cabins were hot inside? Has anyone had a problem recently with the A/C on board Sapphire? Kind of concerned as two of the people joining us have allergies and need their cabins cool. Any info would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks. SF Posted June 26, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted June 26, 2005 Bumping to top as we leave this week and I'm still concerned about it being too hot onboard ship and in the cabins. Several people have written about this and I'd like to hear from someone who's recently sailed on Sapphire. Please, can anyone put my concerns to rest. Thanks. Figsgrandma Posted June 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2005 We were on the Sapphire 5/29 - 6/5. We didn't have any problem with the temperature on the ship or in the cabin being too hot, nor did I hear anyone complaining. I believe my husband adjusted the cabin thermostat one night, but I don't remember whether he was making it warmer or cooler. I hope this helps. SF Posted June 27, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted June 27, 2005 Yes, thanks for replying. I was getting worried after reading several posts that said it was hot on the ship. I prefer the room temp. cooler so glad to hear you didn't have any problems. :)
Italy52 Posted June 27, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2005 We were on the Sapphire the week of May 22nd. Cabin and ship's temperatures were very comfortable. If cabin ever got a little warm, I just adjusted the thermostat that was in the room. Never a problem. If your shipmates have allergies, you might want to steer clear of the casino...very smokey at times, mostly near the slots, and when casino is more crowded (evening times). Have a fabulout time, you'll love the Sapphire!
SF Posted June 27, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted June 27, 2005 Italy52: Thanks for sharing and I'm glad to hear from another that they also did not have any A/C problems in their cabin.
scooterdoxie Posted June 28, 2005 #7 Share Posted June 28, 2005 we did not have any problems on the 6/19 sailing. In fact, it was a little too cold at times in the rooms, but the public areas were all comfortable.
SF Posted June 28, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted June 28, 2005 Glad to hear another postive comment in regards to the ship's temp. Thanks for letting me know. I'm not as concerned now as I was after reading the original posts.
