Upgrade Fairy.....Where are you?

We booked our first guarantee in 16 years. I was hopeful that, with my husband's 50th birthday celebration and our Diamond status, we would get an upgrade. I guess the Upgrade Fairy forgot her way to our reservation. :)

 

In all seriousness, we were very lucky - we did get a great cabin assignment. :)

She is either on vacation, caught up in the "sea-questration" or has the noro. The Revenue Officer has the upgrade power.........anything leftover goes to C&A for possible distribution.

I have booked many gty's. I do not think C&A status or birthday celebrations factor at all into gty assignments. I do not think the upgrade fairy does the gty assignments.

 

maybe later after revenue takes it's shot at maximizing revenues, there might be cabins left for C&A upgrade fairy to do her work. As D, there is a shot, especially if not many D+ sailing with you.
