Just got our 2nd price drop for our Sept Magic cruise. 1st was $120 for the 2 of us, this one was $100. Total of $220. THIS is why we book early saver!!!

I hear ya. Got so much OBC on our last cruise that we walked off the Magic in Feb. with $52 in our pockets from unused OBC. We always book early saver. :)

Thanks. Don't know if we will get any OBC from more price drops but I don't care.

 

This will be a couples cruise, me & DH and my 2 sisters and BIL's. Younger sis and DH are veteran cruisers. Older sis has one cruise (sisters cruise last fall). Her DH has never been on a cruise and keeps accusing us of taking him on a death ship (all the wonderful news that keeps happening to Carnival ships). Maybe this 2nd price drop will help (another $100 for him to spend in the casino).

We continued to get price drops, meaning OBC, up until a couple of weeks prior to departure. If you're sailing in Sept., I'm betting you'll get further price drops. Just keep checking everyday, more than once a day. Once or twice the price dropped between me checking in the morning and checking in the afternoon. Sometimes it would go up again, then down again. Enjoy the cruise and the OBC. Sounds like you'll be with a great family group.:)
