Siesta at Civitavecchia

We'll be arriving Civitavecchia on 10 May and our the Ship will depart Civitavecchia at 7:00pm. Just wonder if we'll be able to visit the city of Civitavecchia during the day. If we want to go visiting the market at Civitavecchia or the shops, when exactly is the timing for the siesta? Thanks!

I know that the market was open in the morning each day it was open.

 

Stores were open morning and afternoon and I found that most of them remained open and didn't close during the day.
