Bill&Karen Posted April 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Its a real picture of the Space Shuttle Enterprise being delivered to its new home; USS Intrepid, the aircraft carrier visible at the bottom of the pic. The display will be open sometime this summer. http://www.intrepidmuseum.org/shuttle/home.aspx
MrPete Posted April 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2013 The Shuttle did have a flyover on its way here up the Hudson, so I assume it's real.

Rare songbird1329 Posted April 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2013 I don't know . . .I was in Jersey City that day, actually saw the Enterprise fly over the Hudson. This photo just seems a little "off". It depicts a real event but the perspective . . . I don't know . . . Cyber Kat Posted April 28, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Nor sure if this fotie is fake or not but its an absolute cracker of a pic. Just thought I would share it with you. Yes - it's real. I remember when they announced it. I sooo wanted to go down to the river to see it, but alas, I was at work waaay out in Whippany. :(
Rare songbird1329 Posted April 28, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2013 The size of the plane in comparison to the Manhattan skyline just seems wrong. Don't know why anyone would photoshop this, though, when there are so many real images available from that day. And the flyover was a year ago,so maybe my memory is playing tricks on me . . .but I was in Jersey City, waterfront building, 30 flights up. . .
