gambit78 Posted April 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2013 We are doing the Princess Alaska cruise in Sept. and will be in Victoria for 5 hours as the last stop. They do offer a bus shuttle service to downtown from the cruise at 7pm. However, the site does not tell how often the shuttle runs. Is it going to downtown and then picks up cruise passengers at 10:45 at downtown? Or does it run every half hr or so. So confused! THanx.
aohkay Posted April 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2013 Downtown Victoria is a pleasant, easy 15 minute walk from the cruise ship. If you do want to take the Princess shuttle, I believe they run every 20 minutes. Princess has an exclusive contract with CVS Cruise Victoria. Putterdude Posted April 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2013 While the Victoria Harbour Authority will be operating the shuttle service this year, Princess has contracted with CVS Cruise Victoria for the shuttle service and it will be operated every 20 minutes. It is important to note that you must book the shuttle online through Princess or on the ship. As a cab fare to downtown is only about $10, if there are two or more of you it will be more cost effective to cab it. yyjguy Posted May 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Regular shuttle price is up this year, now $10.00 for a round trip. Even for 2 passengers, using a taxi is a much quicker and cheaper option.

Or just take the city bus that stops right outside the cruise facility.
