gabbyisadog Posted May 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2013 Looking for recommendations for medical insurance for foreign travel. Would like a yearly policy so I don't have to get for each trip. Our Medicare supplement pays only up to $50,000 on foreign bills. We have self insured for cancellation etc for years . We use Medijet for evacuation. Thanks for the suggestions. sail7seas Posted May 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2013 Here is a link for travel and cruise insurance forum on CC. There are some very knowledgeable posters there who are helpful. We self insure for cancellation/interruption and we also have Med Jet but we purchase a policy for medical coverage and emergency evacuation for each cruise. I would be interested in an annual policy but have not done enough research on it. The premiums for a medical and evacuation only policy are very low so it isn't a huge factor buying it each cruise. Our land trips are domestic so our usual insurance would cover for domestic travel accident or illness. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=
