Has anyone been to L'aldea?

Has anyone been here? Is it walkable from the port? Is it worth the cost:confused:

L'Aldea is VERY VERY far from the port. You would need to take a cab (about 20 minute drive).

 

It's a Maya temple look-alike with an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Should you be cruising to Belize or Mexico, I would save the money for the real ruins.

If you're looking for something to do with kids, it might be a fun idea (they have lots of animals and the food is good).

Thank you, thou after further research I see it does not open till 5pm :-( we do have a ds and I think it sounded quite fun. Thank you for your reply

No, the restaurant opens at 5 pm.

Maybe you can combine the visit with the Ostrich Farm. Cool for kids as well and not far from L'Aldea.

Thank yo so much I dont know why I couldnt find that link before. I have emailed them now. I dont suppose you know how easy taxis are to take in Curacao do you?

Taxis are all lined up at the piet when your ship arrives. There will be PLENTY of taxis. The only thing I don't know is, how much the fare will be to L'Aldea.
