Sydney Hotels Easter Break 2006??

Can anyone post when Ester Break for 2006 will be in Sydney? We are planning a stay April 7 to 14? (Will be checking out of Sydney Hotel Fri. April 14 and embarking the Diamond) so will not be needing the hotel for the Easter Weekend - Will the Sydney hotels be more expensive/ capacity limited? the week before Easter?? Thanks, GotTiCruise

I posted an answer to this question this morning but somehow it seems to have got lost.

 

The Easter break in Australia in 2006 is from Good Friday 14th April until Tuesday 18th April. Usually during the week the hotels are more expensive than at weekends due to the demand by Business people.

 

We have stayed in Sydney at Easter time and it is quite popular due to the Royal Easter Show and other activities.

 

I would start looking around now for prices as we have found that it is better to book earlier rather than later as hotels can book out for that time of year very quickly.
