UPO's - Unidentified Photo Objects

I thought it might be fun to have a thread where folks could post a picture of something - ship, bird, animal, flower, tree, port, building, etc. - that they would like to identify. Since we have posters from around the world the odds are someone might recognize it.

 

My "object" is a ship we saw in San Diego Harbor last week. I'm pretty sure it's Navy but beyond that I've never seen anything like it.
