Can I buy 1 day bus/ferry pass a day ahead?

Does anyone know if i can buy a 1 day bus/ferry pass the day before I want to use it or is it only usable on the day purchased?

We were in Bermuda last week. I purchased the 2 day passes. Your time starts when you use the pass not from the time of purchase.

That is correct. If you buy a two day pass, you have to use it on two consecutive days. You can not use it on day one and day three. You can purchase it on day one and use it on days two and three. We usually get the two day pass and then use it on day one and two, staying close and within sight of the ship on day three. It is a long swim back to the USA if you miss that ship. LOL
