betterthanvegas? Posted May 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2013 On the epic, are the plugs American? Also, does anyone know how many points there are in interior cabins? Thank you! 3 days to go!
time2cruise1 Posted May 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2013 One plug point each of American and European plugs.
betterthanvegas? Posted May 16, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Thanks! We're from Ireland so I suppose that means bringing both American and European adaptors. Makes sense accommodating both the port and the ships nationality.
SteveH2508 Posted May 16, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2013 If you are in a balcony the coffee pot has a plug point as well (American IIRC)

betterthanvegas? Posted May 16, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted May 16, 2013 I wonder with the differing voltages would that work though?
Single Cruiser Posted May 16, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 16, 2013 My inside had 4. Two euro, two US. Don't forget as US uses low voltage some chargers don't work correctly so use the euro sockets.

tony@stanton19.freeserve. Posted May 16, 2013 #9 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Use the euro socket for your power strip. it will be the right voltage and the plugs in the power strip will match all your appliances. Th US socket is 110v and will take longer to charge things.
JohnIreland Posted May 16, 2013 #10 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Thanks! We're from Ireland so I suppose that means bringing both American and European adaptors. Makes sense accommodating both the port and the ships nationality. The European plugs will work with everything with just an adapter. For the US ones you need the adapter and to make sure you device is dual-voltage.

Not everything non dual voltage US products will fry. :D Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - Jim

Which is why you don't JUST buy an adapter. You buy a power CONVERTER. Unless, of course, the unit you're charging is dual power, which makes the converter unnecessary.
