Forward balcony on Sun for Alaska??

I am considering one of the forward cabins looking out over the bow for our first Alaska cruise.

 

We don't mind the cold weather. But during May, will the balcony be too cold and windy to use when not stationary?

 

I know weather can vary year to year but I'm just curious what NCL alumni would say. We've always sailed HAL and am looking for something more casual.
