Youre charged at the end of the cruise. I cant remember exactly how much they were Im sure someone else can help ($12-$14? per person per day)

yes! NCL on certain ships has flavored waters at the buffet.The Gem had it last January.

From the Epic dailies :

GARDEN CAFE BUFFET : breakfast 7-10.30am, lunch 11.30am-3pm, dinner 5-9.30pm

GREAT OUTDOORS BUFFET : breakfast 9-11am, lunch noon-3pm, snacks 3-5pm, late night snacks 9-11pm

O'SHEEHAN : always open

You can pre pay your service charges. It's $12 per day per person. If you don't pre pay it gets charged to your on board account each day. Any promotional OBC can't be used to pay the service charged.

Thank you. NCL is alot different from RCI.

I have always found that buffet opening times for breakfast vary a little according to when the ship is due to dock. As a rule of thumb I would say at least 1 or one and a half hours before docking time.

We cruise both RCI and NCL. I think you will find that they are more alike than different.

 

NCL's freestyle is much more efficient than RCI's my time dining. Food, shows, service are very similar. I like both lines very much. NCL might have a slight edge. Just my opinion.
