Rare LAFFNVEGAS Posted April 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Hi Everyone. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to loose and inch or two on my upper arms. I have lost 29.5 pounds and have lost quite a few inches all over except my upper arms. What is strange a dress that I could wear about 6 years that is a formal gown fits perfect and is actually really loose except in the sheer arms. They are tight as could be and when I wore this 6 years ago it was loose. Does anyone have any special exercises to help the flabby upper arms. Thanks, Lisa L Monarch of the Seas-March 2002 West. WeirdEyes Posted April 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Get some 3 lbs weights and work your arms. I can't explain the exercises here, but Leslie Sansone has a video for your arms. It is suppose to be very good. Good luck! ~~Shelia~~
Sailing the Mariner in....... Carnival Destiny 2002
herbnjod Posted April 19, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2004 One word---Pushups, do Bent knee ones, and really concentrate of form, do as many as you can 'till you cant push up the last time and then stretch--take a day off and then repeat---add more when ur ready. dien2cruize Posted May 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2004 push ups and pull ups are good but I have a very hard time with those--actually HATE them! I have had very good results with free weights. As the above poster said, buy some 3 lb weights and a video and good luck. lka1012 Posted May 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2004 While my upper arms are a litttle tight, my biggest problem is the "wingspan" hanging down underneath the upper arms, and the spillover just under the arms. PINEVIEW01 Posted May 4, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2004 Same Problem here Kathy. That wingy thing. I've talk to doc about it. If I can keep everything else the same for a year, they may do something for me.
