Cabin(s) question

Recommended Posts

We are booking a cruise this September on the Navigator and are trying to figure out what cabin option is best for us. We are traveling with our 2.5 year old son and would like to get him a separate room so when he goes down to bed, we don’t have to tip toe around the cabin. We cruised with him last year and had a great time, but would rather have a separate room for him to sleep in. Anyway, the only 2 options I think we have are a family suite, however, they will only let us have it if we book 5 people in that room and that comes to about $5k. The second option we are looking at is getting 2 adjoining rooms overlooking the promenade deck and that option comes to about $4k. Any opinions on which option would be best?

Thanks

Go on a Disney cruise. At his age, I think you'd get a lot more out of the cruise. Also, Disney has suites that have separate rooms. RCCL may be better suited for him at a later age (IMHO). Our kids loved the Wonder when they were 8 and 5.

Good luck!

We did consider disney, but they didnt have any one bedroom suites available during the week we need to go and the family suite looked too small. Of everything we looked at, Navigator is the best option.

There are two combination D1/M connecting cabins on deck 9 of the Voyager class ships that might meet your requirements....they are all the way aft port and starboard sides. So parents get a balcony and the connecting cabin is an inside so no worry about the slider and such. Cabins are 9376/9381 and 9676/9681. Good luck...Deb

Deb,

That is perfect, thank you so much. We saw that configuration on Carnival, but must have overlooked it on RCCL. Im calling RCCL right now...

THanks again
