dcollette Posted May 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2013 We haven't cruised in awhile and have never been to the Bahamas. We are sailing NCL and wondering what documentation we need to get on/off ship. I don't want to bring anything we don't need. In the past, all we carried were our room cards, traveller's checks, etc. We generally carry our licenses in case if we use a cc somewhere and they ask (although no one ever has). Other islands we have been to, we only needed our room card to get on/off ship. Thanks

License is required in some places if you use a credit card. Some hotels are cashless, so CC is advised. Most small venue/straw markets etc won't take travelers checks. You might have a hard time useing/cashing them.
dcollette Posted May 25, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Thank you! I just didn't want to have to bring anything we didn't need. Will make sure we have cash for trinkets at the straw market.
