Book through Carnival or on our own? Sail on 5-30-2013

Recommended Posts

This is our first cruise. We plan on leaving the kids in camp carnival and have a mommy/daddy activity. The excursions seemed a little pricey and reading on here some say arent as good. Sooo, do I book with Carnival (Nassau Port) or do I book on my own. HOW do I book on my own if that's the best way. We do NOT have our own gear

In Nassau, use the ship's excursion. It's a long way around the island to the dive area and you're risking being late. Stuart's Cove is the contracted operator and they are a top notch operation. I dove with them last year when I was on Oasis of the Seas.
