Kusadasi and Ephesus Tours-Full Day????

Hi,

 

I booked a tour with Nejat after reading some wonderful reviews.

My question is:

 

Nejat's tours are full day tours. RCL's are half day tours.

Is it better to spend half the day touring and the second half shopping and having a leisurely lunch in Kusadasi? Is a full day in Ephesus overkill?

I'm sure your full day tour will probably only be a full half day in Ephesus which we would have loved to have (we did a Princess tour and had about 2 hours there which wasn't near enough). The other time will be spent at other interesting sites in the area as well as a stop for lunch and I'm sure if you are interested in shopping he will be glad to direct you to places to do that.

Ephesus is a fascinating place--I would think at least 3 to 4 hours would be great in addition tot he museum which we found fascinating. it also depends on how many ships are in port.

We did the "History & Relgion of roman ephesus" thru RCCL and I highly recommend this tour. Is a full day tour, leaves before 8:00AM, but will also give you time to do some shopping on the way back. We had an excellent tour guide, he was funny and educated and they also took us to a great lunch.
