Dicenator Posted May 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2013 Mr. Caluori, I've only been on one Princess cruise, the Emerald Princess in November, 2009. My primary form of entertainment is playing craps in the casino every day. Now I enjoyed playing craps on your ship but the craps table was not open for business nearly enough. On every ship I've cruised on the craps table opened by no later than 8 PM and this covers around 20 different ships. However on the Emerald it opened at 9 PM every single evening and then only with 2 dealers so only half the table was open. Every other gaming table was open once you were 30 minutes or so outside of a port after departure. On at sea days on every other ship the craps table would be open by 2 PM. On the Emerald Princess there were 2 at sea days during my cruise and the craps table never opened in the afternoon although every other game was open. I just read a trip report from someone who was on the Star Princess within the last few weeks and he reported the same situation that I just described. Is there any explanation for this? Or is this a Corporate wide policy? Because of this experience on the Emerald I have not booked another Princess cruise. I'm willing to try one more where hopefully the craps table will offer enough playing opportunities. Thank you, If you don't know the answer you could reply with a way for me to contact your director of casino operations and I'll try to get an answer from him.
