in the Deluxe Wine Package, the following is available...

Zonin, Prosecco

Castello Del Poggio, Moscato

Oyster Bay, Sauvignon Blanc

Schmitt Sohne, Riesling Spatlese

 

from Bon Voyage, the following is available...

FunF Riesling

Castello Del Poggio, Moscato

Bella Sera Chianti

 

 

My Questions.....

 

Is it Possible to get any of these wines by the glass or do you have to buy the bottle from Bon Voyage OR wine package in order to have these particular wines?

 

Is this list posted by zydeco, the only wines available by the glass in the MDR?

You have it figured out, those wines by the bottle are only available as you say and this is the only wine list for the MDR. The Steakhouses (if your ship has one) has a different list tho. Carnival is relatively regimented about their drinks and isn't like a bar/restaurant at home that may have different bottles of wine open at different times behind the bar.

I would think you could also buy a glass of wine by the glass at any bar. We could on conquest at the martini bar, so I would think other bars too.

 

(not just in the MDR).

 

If you want it delivered to the cabin, then its by the bottle.

Yes you can buy Wine by the glass from the bar, I do that all the time as wine is my preferred adult beverage.

I believe some are available by the glass.

 

Check out the link, it has the 2013 Wine list, not sure how "accurate" it is tho.

I think OP was asking if you can get all the wine package or bon voyage wines by the glass at the MDR (or a bar I guess) and the answer to that is no, you can get some, but not every last one, so it depends on what you're looking for.

the good news is, if you buy it by the bottle at dinner and don't drink it all, they will serve it to you on another night of the cruise. They save your bottle. If you don't finish the wine you have purchased by the end of the cruise, then they will give you the wine the last evening of the cruise to take off the ship, this way you are not out any money by buying bottles of wine on board. It is always going to be cheaper to buy a bottle then wine by the glass.

the good news is, if you buy it by the bottle at dinner and don't drink it all, they will serve it to you on another night of the cruise. They save your bottle. cathyz... thank you that is exactly what i was asking... i have purchased the bottle from bon voyage. I didn't see where i could have it delivered to the dining room so I will just carry it in myself I guess :)
