Luckybrat Posted June 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2013 With our cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas coming up next month, I've been watching (DH would say obsessing about) the most recent reviews for other sailings. I saw this review, and it got me thinking. I'm hoping I could get some info/advice: http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=220681 Has this happened to anyone here? Did RCCL compensate for any electronics damaged? Did they cover laundry for wet clothes? Find another cabin while things dried out?

I've read the review and it really seems like an isolated rare in incident. If I were you I wouldn't fret over it and just move on to something more positive. Happy Cruising :-)

foolishmortals Posted June 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I'm on the same cruise with you next month! I also read that review. I'm just going to go expecting to have a good time and address any problems if I encounter them. *knock on wood*. I wouldn't stress out over these types of reviews because it will just cause unnecessary anxiety. There is nothing you can really do about it and why fret over something that may or may not happen? Try to focus on the fun things you will see in Alaska---stay clear of those cabin review for now---hang out in the Alaska ports of call sub forum and roll call(it's a little dead in there right now. Lol) to get you pumped up about our cruise. As for worrying about damage to electronics or any of your personal items, you can always pick up trip insurance just in case.
