telli01 Posted June 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Hey guys We need some help :) We've been on several cruises in the past but we are thinking about taking our first cruise with our son in March (he'll be 3 in January). We are thinking about the Liberty, eastern caribbean (half moon cay, san juan, st thomas, and grand turk). Are there any activities that you can think of that he'd be able to do besides playing in the sand at the beach? We are fine with booking excursions on our own. We are just trying to decide if we should take him now or wait until he's a little older. Any help you can give us would be great!
okgirl Posted June 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2013 There are usually some kind of zoo/eco tour type options. I would go on carnival.com into shore excursions to see what they have to offer. And also the family section of cruise critic might have better suggestions for what others are doing with their young children.
boonsterrific Posted June 6, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2013 We took our then three year old last year and there were quite a few excursions that had kids under three for free. Unfortunately, we didn't visit any of the ports you are going to, but he had a great time on the cruise.
