Mystic Mountain - Can we walk from ship?

We will be docked in Ocho Rios. Is it possible to walk from the ship directly to Mystic Mountain for the bobsleds? If so, how far is it? Thank you!!

it is less than a mile, but there are no sidewalks and the road is the main highway and narrow .... I've done it and don't recommend it .... I'd run that road EARLY on non cruise ship days and even then it wasn't the best of ideas . . .

 

We hired buses to run the crew back and forth to DRF which is just a little farther up the road just to keep them OFF this road walking . . .

 

Use Google Earth or similar and you'll easily find both places, MM and DRF just a little west of the pier area.
