What pier in Vancouver?

We are on the Sapphire out of Vancouver on Sept. 28. Does anyone know if Princess sails from Canada Place?

Been in and out of Canada Place three times on Princess ships.

The only occasions where any ship would be docked somewhere besides Canada Place is if there's more than three ships in port on a given day. This typically only happens a couple of times a season when ships are repositioning at the beginning and end of the Alaska cruise season.

 

(Edit: Looking at the schedule, I see a couple of other instances where a ship might dock at Ballantyne Pier with only three ships in port. In each case, it looks like only Norwegian ships dock there anyway.)

Exactly. And it's rare that it would be a Princess ship kicked to Ballantyne.

as posted above it is rare that ships dock at Ballyntyne but it does happen. We did a repo cruise one year where our Princess ship was a Ballyntyne. We had to go to Canada Place where we were directed to the new convention center where we dropped off our bags and we cleared security, customs, got cruise cards there and then we were directed to buses and shuttled to Ballyntyne. At first I was concerned about this but it went very very smoothly.

 

There is no public access to the cruise ships as the port is secure.

 

But it is a mute point as it appears you are in fact docking at Canada Place
