Vision of the Seas - aft cabin, Deck 8 - prop or engine vibration??

Recommended Posts

About to cruise on Vision of the Seas - have a cabin relatively aft (maybe 8 cabins from the aft corner). Wondering about engine or propeller vibration. Has anyone had any experience? I've been on two sister ships (Enchantment twice and Splendor once) but had cabins further forward - no problems there.

Thanks!:)

I have had a JS all the way aft on the Enchantment with no noticeable vibration from the engine . I did feel a slight vibration at times, actually it was more of a varying oscillation, not a bit bothersome. Just don't how sensitive you will be to it and I don't recall it being there all the time. I don't think it is abnormal to find this at either ends of the ship and can be caused by a number of things... propellers being one of them. You may be very likely to feel vibrations as the ship is maneuvering upon entering or leaving port, but that does not last long.
